Who we are
Augurwire is provided by Augurwire.com. Contact us at hello@augurwire.com.
This website
augurwire.com doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply to you.
The Augurwire software
Augurwire is self-hosted: it runs on servers controlled by the business that installs it. That business decides which email and social media accounts to connect and is responsible for the messages Augurwire processes for it.
- What it reads: messages, comments and mentions from the accounts the business connects, using read-only access granted on each platform's own sign-in page.
- Where it's stored: in the business's own database, on its own server. We don't receive copies.
- Account access: access tokens and mailbox passwords are encrypted at rest. Augurwire never sees or stores the passwords for Google, Microsoft, Facebook or Instagram accounts.
- Disconnecting: removing an account in Augurwire deletes its stored token. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google, Microsoft or Meta account settings.
Data from Google, Microsoft and Meta
Data received from these platforms is used only to show, route and alert on messages inside the business's own Augurwire installation. It isn't sold, used for advertising, or transferred to anyone else.
Deleting your data
To have data about you deleted, contact the business you communicated with, or email us at hello@augurwire.com and we'll help you reach them.
Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change, and change the date at the top.
